A person was shot in an incident involving U.S. Border Patrol in southern Pima County, Arizona, on Tuesday morning, according to a sheriff’s spokeswoman. The unidentified individual was shot near milepost 15 of West Arivaca Road around 7:30 a.m. and was transported in critical condition to a trauma center. The circumstances of the shooting are unclear, and an active investigation is ongoing by law enforcement agencies.
