Mark Arendz on Cheerios Boxes

Mark Arendz, a decorated athlete from Prince Edward Island, is currently competing in a Para World Cup event in Germany and is featured on Cheerios boxes as part of General Mills’ campaign celebrating Canadian athletes for the 2026 Paralympic and Olympic Games in Milano-Cortina, Italy. Arendz, who has won 12 Paralympic medals, hopes this visibility will inspire youth to engage in sports and share their stories. As he prepares for his fifth Paralympic Games, he focuses on improving his speed and performance. The Games will take place from March 6 to 15, 2026, with around 600 athletes competing in various events.
