One woman in her 70s died and a man in his 60s was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Charleville, Co Cork. The incident occurred on Main Street shortly before 2pm on a Saturday afternoon, with both victims taken to Cork University Hospital. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have examined the crash scene, and witnesses are urged to come forward with any information or footage.
