PCM head boys basketball coach Tony Ford anticipated challenges for his team after losing key players from last season. In their season opener against Pella Christian, PCM fell 64-35, with the Eagles dominating the game through strong rebounding and defense. Gilbert Flagel led the Eagles with 21 points, while PCM’s offense improved in the second half, highlighted by Abe Kiernan’s 10 points. The Mustangs shot 35% from the field and committed 19 turnovers.
