A Boeing 737-800 jet carrying 181 passengers skidded off a runway and crashed into a concrete fence at a South Korean airport, resulting in at least 120 deaths. Two crew members were rescued, and the cause of the accident is under investigation. The plane, operated by Jeju Air, was returning from Bangkok when the tragedy occurred, making it one of the worst airline disasters in South Korea’s history.
