Pasadena to resume parking enforcement after Eaton fire

The city of Pasadena is resuming parking enforcement a month after the deadly Eaton fire in Altadena, starting with business districts and phasing in the rest of the city. The fire burned 14,021 acres, destroyed over 9,400 structures, and claimed 17 lives. Malibu is also gradually reinstating parking enforcement after the Palisades fire, focusing on public safety violations and offering warnings in burned areas to support residents and businesses in their recovery efforts.
