Pakistan police crackdown clears Khan protesters from Islamabad

Pakistan’s security forces have removed Imran Khan supporters from Islamabad following a crackdown, reopening roads and arresting hundreds of protesters demanding his release. The PTI party’s planned sit-in was suspended after deadly clashes between protesters and security personnel, with the army taking control of the Red Zone. Police have arrested over 4,000 supporters and are seeking the arrest of Khan’s wife, while services have been restored after a temporary suspension.
