A person posing as a realtor in Ottawa broke into a home under the guise of showing it to potential buyers. The scammer gained access to the property by using a lockbox code and proceeded to take photos of the interior to use in future fake listings. Homeowners are urged to always verify the credentials of their realtor and never provide access to their property without proper identification.
