Tannos is wanted in connection with a significant corruption case linked to Indonesia’s electronic identity card project, with the hearing focused on the admissibility of evidence under the new extradition treaty.

The hearing on Tuesday resumed with the cross-examination of the state’s first witness, chief investigator Alvin Tang from the CPIB. Mr. Singh, Tannos’s lawyer, questioned Tang about CPIB’s actions regarding Tannos’ arrest and the evidence related to his family during the alleged offense period.
