Ontario reports 89 new measles cases, bringing provincial count to 661

In Ontario, there have been 89 new measles cases reported in the past week, bringing the total number of cases in the province to 661 since the outbreak began. The majority of cases involve unvaccinated children in the southwestern public health unit. Despite a stable rate of new cases, the chief medical officer of health believes the outbreak may continue into the summer.
