SINGAPORE: Labour chief Ng Chee Meng announced he would not pursue further action against Facebook user Rich Sng over defamatory comments about his photo with a convicted money launderer. Sng deleted his posts and apologized, acknowledging that his allegations were baseless, and offered to perform community service instead of paying damages. Ministers Ong Ye Kung and Chee Hong Tat stated that while they may meet individuals with questionable backgrounds, they maintain integrity in their duties and find it impractical to avoid such interactions.
