An Oneida County Sheriff’s corrections officer was hospitalized after being attacked by an incarcerated Lee Center man during breakfast service at the Oneida County Correctional Facility in Whitestown. The inmate kicked his cell door open, striking the officer, and then proceeded to hit the officer multiple times in the head. Ethan Adsit, 24, of Lee Center, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, and the officer was diagnosed with a closed head injury and transported to Oneida Hospital for treatment.
