A third of women in the EU have experienced various forms of violence, with younger women reporting higher levels of sexual harassment. Despite this, many cases go unreported, with only every fourth woman seeking help from authorities. The EU gender-based violence survey conducted by Eurostat, FRA, and EIGE from 2020 to 2024 revealed alarming statistics, emphasizing the need for policymakers to address and combat violence against women effectively.
