Adrian Soane Patita Pani, a 36-year-old Mount Wellington resident, has been charged with the murder of 59-year-old Sefo Leger following an alleged stabbing incident on an East Auckland bus on December 9. The attack, described by police as unprovoked, occurred shortly after Pani boarded the bus. Leger, who was fatally injured, died in the hospital later that night.
