Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid returned to the lineup against the Vegas Golden Knights after missing three games due to an ankle injury sustained on October 28. McDavid fell awkwardly into the boards 37 seconds into his first shift against the Columbus Blue Jackets, but after working with the team’s athletic training staff, he was able to return earlier than expected.
