Detroit-area library says Chicago man can keep overdue baseball book — 50 years later – Chicago Tribune
Chuck Hildebrandt, a man who grew up in suburban Detroit, returned a very overdue baseball book to his boyhood library in Warren after 50 years. The library director forgave the fine for the book, "Baseball’s Zaniest Stars," which Hildebrandt borrowed in 1974.
