The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a small plane crash in Tuscarwas County involving a 1973 Cessna 310Q that occurred just after 5 p.m. in Mill Township. The pilot, the sole occupant, died in the crash, which took place shortly after takeoff from Harry Clever Field Airport with no distress calls made prior to the incident. The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration will conduct their own investigations into the cause of the crash and the identity of the pilot.
