The remains of “Oak Grove Jane Doe,” a woman found dead in 1946, were exhumed in Oregon this week as authorities aim to resolve the state’s oldest unidentified person case. The Oregon State Police plan to conduct advanced forensic testing on the remains, which were discovered in a burlap sack and previously lost in custody, hoping to restore her identity after nearly 80 years.
