Man charged with chaining and assaulting partner in Oak Flats

A 34-year-old man in NSW has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping and brutally assaulting his 32-year-old partner, subjecting her to severe physical and sexual violence from July to August last year. The victim reportedly suffered multiple fractures and was attacked with scissors and a meat tenderiser. The man faces five original charges related to kidnapping and domestic violence, along with six additional charges, including sexual assault and coercive control. He is scheduled to appear in Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday.
