A 14-year-old Rosehill College student suffered a head gash and concussion during a bus crash in Pahurehure, where a Ritchies bus collided with a tree, injuring eight people. The girl, who chose to remain anonymous, was sitting with friends at the back of the bus when she noticed they were too close to the footpath, and moments later, the bus crashed, causing passengers to be thrown forward. The incident occurred just before 9 am, resulting in significant damage to the bus’s front windscreen.
