The maintenance work, funded through the NLTP, includes resurfacing, structural upgrades, and repairs on various sections of SH1, SH77, SH8, and SH82, with tight schedules and road closures in place. Additionally, the Ashburton District Council is undertaking separate road rehabilitation and resealing projects on local roads, with completion dates set for Summer 2024 and April 2025.
