A man named Leon Saufoi, who assaulted an Uber driver and damaged vehicles after being refused transport, has been allowed to continue working as a security guard despite police objections. Convicted of assault with intent to injure and willful damage, he was sentenced to community detention, but Private Security Personnel Licensing Authority head Trish McConnell believes he deserves another chance.

Explain It To Me Like I’m 5: A man hurt an Uber driver because he couldn’t get a ride, but now, even though the police think he shouldn’t, he can still have his job as a security guard.
