NSW police have declared a “zero tolerance” policy for protests following a terror attack at Bondi Beach, after 20-year-old Ryder Roy Shaw was charged for inciting violence through social media. Shaw remains in custody without entering a plea, as police are vigilant against potential violent gatherings at Cronulla beach. Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon issued a 14-day ban on public assemblies in Sydney, emphasizing community safety and swift action against hate-motivated crimes. Premier Chris Minns reiterated the importance of social cohesion and warned against divisive behavior.
