Kentucky has successfully recruited quarterback Kenny Minchey from the Nebraska Cornhuskers, marking a significant move in the NCAA transfer portal. Minchey, a four-star prospect ranked No. 44 overall and No. 10 among quarterbacks, previously served as a backup at Notre Dame, where he played in six games and completed 20 of 26 passes for 196 yards in 2025. New head coach Will Stein, balancing duties with Oregon’s College Football Playoff run, will welcome Minchey for the 2026 season at Kentucky. With two years of eligibility remaining, Minchey could contribute significantly to the Wildcats’ future.
