Norwegian police have searched properties owned by former Prime Minister Thorbjorn Jagland as part of a corruption probe linked to his connections with Jeffrey Epstein. The investigation stems from documents suggesting Jagland may have stayed at Epstein’s residences between 2011 and 2018. Chief Pal Lonseth of the Okokrim economic crimes unit stated that Jagland is now suspected of “aggravated corruption” after the searches in Oslo. He has agreed to be questioned by authorities.
