Singapore-based Nortrans Offshore secured a charter deal with Saipem for its maintenance vessel, Temis, to work on the Neptun Deep gas project in the Romanian Black Sea for 160 days with a possible 170-day extension. The project, owned by OMV Petrom and Romgaz, aims to position Romania as the largest gas producer in the EU and involves Saipem constructing the topsides of the offshore platform in Indonesia.
