The Northern Lights were seen in Arran, Gigha, and Crieff, as lucky Scots captured photos of the phenomenon. The natural light display was also visible in other parts of Scotland, including Shandwick, Stonehaven, and Gigha. The aurora borealis is caused by disturbances in the Earth’s magnetosphere due to solar wind, resulting in beautiful light displays in high-latitude regions.
