Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed changes at the kumbh mela in Prayagraj after a deadly stampede, including making the Maha Kumbh a vehicle-free zone and cancelling all VVIP passes until February 4. Bath routes will be one-way, holding areas will be set up to prevent overcrowding, and train and bus operations will be monitored to ensure safe travel for devotees. Heightened security measures, increased administrative workforce, and smooth traffic management are also implemented to ensure a safe and successful event.
