The city of Edmonton released an updated draft of public behaviour rules, merging three existing bylaws into one. The proposed changes include new offenses, reduced fines for certain infractions, and updated protest rules. The draft aims to address concerns raised at a previous public meeting, but U of A professor Judy Garber criticizes the bylaw for still unfairly targeting homeless individuals seeking shelter in transit stations.
