The Mega Millions jackpot drawing on Friday night did not produce a winner, leading to the grand prize increasing to an estimated $875 million for the upcoming Tuesday drawing after 28 consecutive drawings without a winner.
The winning numbers for Friday’s jackpot were: 13, 25, 50, 51, 66 and the gold Mega Ball 6.
The cash value of Friday night’s prize was $385.1 million, which can be taken as a one-time lump-sum payment or as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments. These numbers will now increase due to the lack of a winner on Friday.
If won, the grand prize would be the fifth-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history, following four billion-dollar winners.
The most recent jackpot was claimed on Dec. 8.
The largest Mega Millions jackpot prize ever won was a $1.6 billion prize claimed on Aug. 8, 2023 in Neptune Beach, Florida.
According to Mega Millions, the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $2 for one play.
