N.Y. judge dismisses terrorism charges against Luigi Mangione Murder charge remains in case

A New York state judge dismissed state terrorism charges against Luigi Mangione but retained second-degree murder charges related to the December killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, ruling the terrorism charges were “legally insufficient.” Mangione, who faces federal and other state charges and has pleaded not guilty, will have hearings begin on December 1.
