Petrol prices in Brisbane are the most expensive in the country, with drivers paying an average of $1.90 a litre, according to a report by the Royal Automobile Club of Queensland. The report calls for a 5 cent daily cap on price hikes, as prices in Perth were found to be 13 cents cheaper. Brisbane suburbs showed a fluctuation of up to 30 cents a litre in average prices, with the cheapest locations including Kuraby, Deagon, and Zillmere, while the most expensive areas were Milton, Mount Ommaney, and Jindalee.
