Empire Magazine has unveiled the cover for its upcoming issue, showcasing a new dinosaur, the Distortus Rex, from the sequel Jurassic World Rebirth, which stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali. Directed by Gareth Edwards and scripted by David Koepp, the film is set five years after Dominion, depicting a world where dinosaurs are dying out except for a small tropical region. Scheduled for release on July 2, 2025, Edwards describes the film as a tribute to Spielberg, hinting at the start of a new trilogy within the franchise.
