MGM+ has released new images and a poster for its adaptation of Stephen King’s novel, The Institute, which follows 12-year-old genius Luke Ellis, kidnapped and placed in a facility for children with unusual abilities. The series features Ben Barnes as Tim Jamieson, a former police officer drawn back to life by Luke’s plight, and Mary-Louise Parker as Ms. Sigsby, the facility’s director. Developed by Jack Bender and Benjamin Cavell, the eight-episode series promises high-intensity suspense, emphasizing the dark realities faced by the children within the Institute.
