Today’s Sugar Bowl college football match-up between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will proceed as planned at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans despite the deadly attack earlier in the city. The game, scheduled to be televised on ESPN at 8:45 p.m. ET, will determine the winner’s advancement to the College Football Playoff semifinal. At least 10 people were killed and 35 injured in the early morning attack when a man drove his vehicle into a crowd in the French Quarter, with authorities investigating the incident as a potential act of terrorism.
