Two lionesses from the !Khamab Kalahari Reserve were introduced to Addo Elephant National Park in March 2025, enhancing the Park’s genetic diversity. The sisters, aged two-and-a-half years, are collared for monitoring purposes, helping manage their impact on the environment and prey species. Their presence contributes to a larger conservation initiative to maintain a healthy lion population within the Park.
