Nepal lifts social media ban after deadly protests | World News

Nepal has lifted a ban on social media platforms, including Facebook and YouTube, following protests against government corruption that resulted in 19 deaths. The government had imposed the ban due to social media companies not registering in Nepal, but after large demonstrations led by Gen Z, officials announced the platforms would resume operations.
