Nina Aouilk, now 55, faced years of abuse and neglect, being groomed for servitude while her brothers enjoyed freedom. Disowned at birth for being a girl, she endured racial bullying and severe trauma, including a brutal sexual assault at 14 and extreme abuse in an arranged marriage at 16. After a harrowing escape from her family and marriage, Nina now advocates against honour-based violence through her charity, End Honour Killings, highlighting the urgent need for awareness and support for victims of domestic violence.
