Dozens of visitors to the Cowbridge Farm Shop at Marlborough Grange Farm in south Wales have contracted a parasitic infection called cryptosporidium, with 28 confirmed cases reported. Public Health Wales has suspended all calf and lamb feeding and petting sessions at the farm while investigating the outbreak. Symptoms include watery diarrhoea, stomach pains, and nausea, particularly affecting young children and those with weakened immune systems; recovery typically occurs within a month for those with healthy immune systems.
