The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has admitted the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) plea to initiate insolvency proceedings against education technology company Byju’s. The BCCI filed the plea after Byju’s failed to pay the sponsorship fee for the Indian cricket team. Byju’s now has 30 days to either pay the dues or face insolvency proceedings.
