Nastja Claessens, a 20-year-old Belgian forward with Olympic experience, has joined Kansas State after being drafted by the Washington Mystics in 2024. Despite maintaining her NCAA eligibility, the Mystics retain her WNBA rights for up to a year after she exhausts her college eligibility, under the current collective bargaining agreement, which may change as it expires this year.
