A person of interest has been detained in connection with the 10-day disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, mother of “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie, in a city south of Tucson. The detention followed the release of surveillance images by the FBI showing a subject in a ski mask, potentially armed. SWAT teams were activated to assist local law enforcement during the operation. The condition and whereabouts of the 84-year-old Guthrie remain unclear as she was without necessary medication.
