The US-based International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) has chosen Pritpal Kaur, a dentist turned policewoman from Haryana serving as the superintendent of police in Nagaland, as a 2024 IACP 40 Under 40 awardee. She is one of 40 police officers worldwide to receive the honor, being the sole recipient from India this year. The awardees are recognized for their leadership, dedication, and service in the field of law enforcement.
