Former Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb scored in Lille’s 2-0 win at Rennes in his first match since suffering a cardiac arrest last year. After being cleared to return by the French Football Federation, Bentaleb scored just four minutes after coming on in the second half and celebrated with his team-mates and coaching staff. Lille boss Bruno Genesio described it as an incredible and wonderful story that could mark the end of their season and remain engraved in the history of the club.
