A trio of U.S. skaters, known as the “Blade Angels,” has gained popularity ahead of the Winter Olympics in Italy. The team includes Isabeau Levito from South Jersey, Amber Glenn, the first openly queer U.S. Olympic figure skater, and Alysa Liu. Their viral presence on social media has captured fans’ attention, with Levito boasting 129,000 Instagram followers. The figure skating team event starts this Friday at Milano Ice Skating Arena, with women’s singles scheduled for February 17 and 19.
