The African continent is a paradise for nature lovers. Many African countries boast an impressive array of wildlife and are rich in natural beauty.

Situated on the Zambia-Zimbabwe border, the charming Victoria Falls is one of the world’s most famous waterfalls. As water plummets into the Zambezi River below, it is nothing but impressive beauty.

The Falls are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are also known as ‘Mosi-o-Tunya’ (the smoke that thunders).

The Kruger National Park is one of Africa’s most popular safari destinations. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife and it offers some of the best game viewing opportunities in the world.

The Park is known for being home to the Big 5, and you can choose between different game drives, as well as thrilling walk safaris.

Masai Mara

Masai Mara National Park.

Located in southwestern Kenya, Masai Mara is famous for its wildlife viewing. At the Reserve, you can spot the popular Wildebeest Migration which takes place from July though to October.

During this time, more than two million animals migrate from Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park to the greener pastures of the Masai Mara National Reserve.

The beauty of Masai Mara also goes well beyond its wildlife, as the savannahs and rivers are also nothing short of breathtaking.

Namib Desert

The Namib Desert stretches from Namibia’s Atlantic coast inland and is known for its tall sand dunes. In fact, the most well-known one is Dune 7, which is approximately 383 meters tall. The desert’s solitude and beauty are undoubtedly worth experiencing, especially if you’re a nature lover.
