Muslim traders in Hyderabad’s Afzalgunj observe bandh against Yati Narsinghanand’s objectionable statements

Business activities in Afzalgunj, Hyderabad, were halted on Tuesday as Muslim traders observed a bandh in protest against derogatory remarks made by Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati against Prophet Muhammad. Traders closed their shops in solidarity with the call by Tahreek Muslim Shabban, expressing disappointment over the lack of action taken against Mr. Narsinghanand. The peaceful protest extended to other areas like Charminar and Siddiamber Bazaar, urging businesses to join in expressing their displeasure by closing for the day.
