More than twelve years after Aliza Sherman was fatally stabbed outside her divorce attorney Gregory Moore’s office in downtown Cleveland, he was arrested and indicted on charges including aggravated murder and conspiracy. The indictment alleges Moore orchestrated the murder to prevent her divorce trial, scheduled for the next day, and that he attempted to create false evidence of his innocence through communication with Sherman before and after the attack. Moore, who has a history of legal issues, including bomb threats to the courthouse, will be arraigned at a later date.
