Murder probe launches after death of woman in her 40s in London

A woman in her 40s was found seriously injured at Hatfield Close in Lewisham, southeast London, early this morning, prompting an emergency response from the London Ambulance Service. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 44-year-old man later arrived at a nearby police station and was arrested on suspicion of murder, remaining in custody.
