Mozilla introduces AI feature for Firefox

Mozilla’s Firefox is developing an AI browsing feature called AI Window, which will include an AI assistant and chatbot in an opt-in environment. This follows the release of the “shake to summarize” feature for iPhone users, showcasing Firefox’s commitment to user-controlled AI experiences. Mozilla aims to differentiate itself by providing AI tools that enhance exploration rather than confining users in repetitive interactions. AI Window will be one of three browsing modes available to users, who can select their preferred AI model and can join a waitlist for updates.
